Mandala

Welcome to the world of Mandalas!

The word mandala in Sanskrit simply means mystic circle, unity, immortality, completion and wholeness. They are much more than beautiful art. They depict a sacred space. Above all are empowering tools for positive transformation, healing and attracting whatever your heart desires.  Carl Jung painted a mandala every day to reconcile aspects of his psyche and personal life.

We all know that art is a great healer. By drawing and painting inside a circular form we invite order, serenity and completion into our life. If we add color we introduce a vibrational healing modality. Color has an effect on our well being. Vibrational medicine incorporates the use of chi (QI) energy within our cells. Color therapy was and still been used to treat physical, emotional and spiritual illness. It is one of the oldest vibrational therapies and is connected to specific feelings, personal memories as well as to specific areas of the body (ie: chacras).

It is been proven that by supplanting apprehension with inspiration and trading stress for relaxation, it tempers human physiology and attitude. Scientifically speaking, it improves human brainwave pattern, autonomic nervous system, hormonal balance, brain neurotransmitters, immune system, and blood flow to various organs. Through self-expression, it rejuvenates the creator with an enlightened perception of within and without.

If you engage in creating mandalas daily or just meditating with them, not only will you enrich your life but bring about healing. By creating or gazing into them, we tap into inaccessible sources of transformation.

Mandalas are great for eliminating self-destructive tendencies, depression, conquering weight loss, relieving physical pain, insomnia,post-traumatic stress disorder,  and many-many more issues.

The connection  between suppressed feelings and chronic bad health issues is very well documented, and we must resolve the deep emotional causes behind them. Mandalas, as  healing tools, can supplement medical treatment as they help eliminate some of the fundamental causes of illness, which are rooted in our thought patterns, attitudes and feelings.  Mandalas work in a deep unconscious level, releasing trapped negative energy, and when emotional problems are eliminated or lessened substantially, many potential illness can be averted. Our inner conflicts, deep rooted in our psyche, if not addressed can spilled over to the physical level, manifesting as all kind of symptoms.

The use of mandalas in no way can be a substitute for medical treatment. If you have persistent physical or psychological problems, you should seek the advise of a professional first and foremost. Do not leave good common sense for a quick mandala fix. Mandalas are  powerful healing tools, when used as a complement to traditional medical treatments or as a daily meditation tool to prevent further ailments by eliminating the root cause seated deep in our cells or psyche. It can be used with other different healing methods like Aromatherapy, Yoga, Fen Shui, crystals, Reiki, regular meditation, sound therapy, etc. All these methods support and strengthen one another.
